It was not a random choice that Massimo Troisi’s film “Il Postino”, was made here, telling about Pablo Neruda’s years of exile in Italy. Ships and ferries link the islands to the mainland, leaving from Salerno, Naples and Sorrento. During the high, tourist season, the “Metrò del Mare” links some Cilentan ports to Capri.
